Pricing

Commission pieces are priced higher than similar premade pieces in my shop. This is because every custom order requires additional time, and individual attention in order to create a specific design. Please see details below:

• Commission Fee / Deposit
  A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to start your custom order. This deposit secures your spot in my schedule while designs are being finalized and covers my time spent communicating, planning, and designing your piece. Since this work takes time and energy upfront, the deposit is non-refundable even if you choose not to move forward with the project.

• Final Payment
  Once designs are finalized, the remaining balance is due before production begins. Delays in final payment may affect your overall project timeline.

  Please note: Pricing for your custom order is preliminary and may fluctuate depending on the final design, number of pieces, materials, and complexity. The final price will be confirmed and agreed upon once the design is finalized and approved by both parties.

Timeline

Pottery has its own rhythm. Each piece goes through multiple stages, and the process can be unpredictable at times. While I always do my best to give accurate timelines, occasional delays can happen due to kiln scheduling, drying times, or studio hiccups. Timing for custom orders starts at 8 weeks, but can easily take longer depending on my current schedule and/or if any issues arise during the process. A more accurate timeline will be given at the time of scheduling and I’ll always keep you updated throughout the process so you always know where your project is at.
